Digital passport readiness meter

Criterion-by-criterion diagnosis

Ten criteria derived from the logic of the regulations (the unique identifiers of ESPR Article 10 and EN 18219; environmental data; automatic acquisition) and from current product-data practice. Relative weight on the right.

    How to read without mistakes. This is a data-readiness diagnosis, not a certification. The digital product passport for construction products (Reg. (EU) 2024/3110, Articles 75–79) has existed in law since 8 January 2026, but the acts that implement it by product family are not yet adopted — nobody can “certify the DPP” today. What this meter does is measure the distance between your BIM objects and the kind of data the passport will ask for (unique product identifier, manufacturer, standardised properties, environmental performance), based on the research published here.
    Low score? That is the norm — and it is fixable.
